The K9 Bed Bug Division Manager oversees all operations of the K9 Bed Bug Detection Division. This leader acts as the primary liaison between the division and corporate leadership, managing budgets, personnel, capital expenditures, and operational performance. The role also supports sales, client relationships, and industry engagement on behalf of the company.
This position requires strong leadership, operational oversight, and expertise in K9 scent detection methodology. The ideal candidate is a confident communicator, a skilled manager of dispersed teams, and someone who thrives in a dynamic, service‑driven environment.
Daily service review — Monitor completion reports, identify unscheduled services, and direct corrective action.
Fleet safety management — Review safety data and coach Supervisors on driving events.
Administrative approvals — Approve timekeeping, mileage, and vehicle reports.
Equipment oversight — Ensure vehicles and equipment meet company maintenance standards.
Certification management — Maintain industry certifications for handler/dog teams.
Issue escalation — Serve as the escalation point for handler/dog team concerns.
Team development — Oversee acquisition of new dogs and formation of new teams.
Veterinary compliance — Ensure dogs receive routine care and documentation is current.
Training resources — Ensure handlers maintain adequate live bed bug training supplies.
Budget leadership — Lead division budget development and monitor performance.
Capital expenditure approval — Approve major purchases such as vehicles and new team training.
Pricing consultation — Partner with Sales and District Managers on pricing strategies.
Expense oversight — Verify hours, commissions, and expenses before payment.
Client partnership — Support District and Account Managers in maintaining client satisfaction.
Sales guidance — Advise sales teams on K9 pricing, preparation, and service timelines.
Training support — Educate new Account Managers on K9 capabilities.
Networking — Represent Rose at industry events and associations.
Speaking engagements — Pursue opportunities to present at conferences.
At least 18 years of age
High school diploma or equivalent
U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Valid driver’s license meeting company standards
Ability to work early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English
Two‑ or four‑year college degree
Experience in pest control or K9 scent detection
One or more years of management experience in pest management
Lift 50 lbs. up to 50"
Carry 50 lbs. up to 100 ft.
